Da Spamfest thread

The sun was shining, the birds were singing and all the dark wankers they were aware of were planted safely six feet under. Things were good. To an outsider's view one might even go so far as to call it idyllic.

Green eyes looked skyward as slender but strong fingers ran rhythmically through ebon, tousled hair. Those same green eyes often sought the chocolate brown eyes that went with the slender but strong fingers there were so perfectly making him drowsy and content. It also didn't hurt that his head was gently pillowed on her lap.

Hermione set down her copy of the Kama Sutra (magically illustrated edition). It had been a gift from the Patil twins and she was itching to put it to use later. She used her newly freed hand to gently brush back the fringe from Harry's forehead so she could lean forward and kiss his faded scar.

The horcrux had long been removed, but dark influences have a tendency to leave malign influences behind; particularly in Harry's case where he had been host to the damned thing for nearly his whole life. He found it wonderfully calming and almost pleasurable when someone who loved him as much as Hermione kissed it or even just stroked it.

Hermione had planted several kisses along the faint lightning bolt shape and was just about lean back and resume her massage when Harry reached back with both hands, pulled her forward even as he tilted his head back. He kissed her tenderly and thoroughly and then settled back on her lap. He squirmed slightly for a moment as moved his face to rest in her skirt clad lap.

Normally, such an act would be terribly taboo since they were in public out on the back lawn of Hogwarts under what had become known as the Harmony Tree. Well… it would have been in public if Hermione, and to a lesser extent Harry, weren't extremely gifted with secrecy and concealment charms. They had received training from the best and as it stood, no one at Hogwart's School of Witchcraft and Wizardry could find them if they didn't want to be found. And at this very moment, while Harry had his face buried in the skirt covered crotch of the love of his life, neither of them wanted anyone else to be able witness what they did.

"Harry!"

At the sound of his name, he lifted his face to look at her."Yes, Dear?"

"You know you're not supposed to do that when we're in public," she reminded with a hint of irony.

"Oh sure. That's one of the reasons I enjoy doing it. I've got a slight exhibitionist streak, you know."

"I've had a feeling about that ever since the time you suggested we take your cloak and christen the staff table during the last feast." Her eyes were shining warmly as she recalled event.

"Admit it, you had a wonderful time." His cheek brushed the swatch of flesh where her skirt had ridden up and her leggings didn't reach. He loved how soft and smooth her skin felt.

"Well, perhaps, but as I recall the ring left by Hagrid's great big tankard left a wet spot on the table where I was laying."

"Sweetie, it may have started as a tankard ring, but trust me, after you got going, it was mostly you."

Hermione couldn't help but blush. "Anyway, is there a reason why you have your face in my lap and seem to be taking your time taking deep lungfuls of air?"

"You're always so fastidious in both your grooming and your dressing, but I happen to know what you're reading despite your charming it to look like a textbook. I was hoping to catch the scent of a certain musky aroma that I happen to really enjoy." His eyes were gleaming to match hers.

Suddenly, a feeling niggled in the back of Harry's mind. He was connected to the specialized wards around their tree and that niggling indicated someone was approaching. Letting out a sigh as he recognized who it was, Harry got to a crouched position and glanced at Hermione. Years together through danger, adversity, calamity, and love and given them the almost supernatural ability to discern the other's thoughts and intentions with the just the barest of glances. It came in handy in times like this when speed was of the essense.

{It's Ron again. I bet he struck out with another underclassman.} Harry flashed to Hermione.

Hermione snorted daintily. {Well, that's a given. He's propositioned and struck out with almost every single girl in the castle}

Harry raised a brow. {Almost? Who hasn't he struck out with?}

Hermione shook with laughter for a moment. {Well, there are two people he hasn't struck out with. Yours truly and Lavender Brown.}

Harry leaned forward for a light kiss and then their silent conversation resumed. {You, I can understand. You're taken, after all. But Lavender, I thought she wouldn't give him the time of day}

Hermione's shoulders shook with laughter once more. {Well, that's how Lavender normally is; however, back in 6th year, when the Ron was still on the Quidditch team before he got booted off for low grades, he caught a drunken Lavender during the after game party. The rumor is that she was so wasted that she actually said yes and they tried to do the deed in an empty classroom.}

Harry was chuckling so hard that he had had to sit down. He leaned back against the tree and Hermione immediately took the chance to lean against his lap. It was her turn for a head massage and she was getting ready for it.

Harry quirked up an eyebrow. {Lavendar was Ron's first?}

{Well the rumors aren't so clear. All I'm certain of is that after you and I finished up in the room of requirement that same night, I was doing my prefect rounds and had to escort Lavender to the medical wing because she was having trouble walking. When we got there, she had trouble sitting down. She didn't want to talk about it.}

{You're kidding?}

{Nope. God's honest truth. Lavender still claims she's a virgin and Ron was evidently so wasted he doesn't even remember what happened.}

{Oh, that's rich. Ron finally found a girl that said yes to his cheesy pickup lines and when he was aiming… he MISSED!}

Despite the smile on her face, Hermione flashed back to Harry. {It's not that funny, Harry. The poor girl was obviously in a lot of pain.}
